Donor FAQ
Is Wesley's Reach a nonprofit organization?
Yes. Wesley's Reach Inc. is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 33-2656509). This designation has been formally granted by the Internal Revenue Service and is maintained through ongoing compliance with nonprofit reporting and governance requirements.
Will I receive a donation receipt?
Yes. Donors automatically receive a receipt through our secure payment processor, Stripe. This receipt contains the information needed for personal recordkeeping and may be used for tax purposes where applicable.
What is Sublocade?
Sublocade is an FDA-approved, once monthly injectable form of buprenorphine used to treat moderate to severe opioid use disorder. Unlike daily medications, Sublocade provides continuous medication support for an entire month, helping reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms while supporting long term recovery efforts.
Where does my donation go?
Your donation helps fund the financial incentive that allows selected participants to obtain their first Sublocade injection, as well as the recovery support services that follow.

For participants accepted into Wesley's Reach's pilot program, donations help provide:
-
Assistance toward obtaining a Sublocade injection
-
Recovery counseling and support services
-
Financial coaching and practical recovery planning
-
Potential extension of support for another 30 days
The initial 30-day support period is built into the pilot program. However, extending support beyond those first 30 days depends on available funding and donor support. Every contribution helps create additional opportunities for participants to maintain momentum in their recovery journey.
